The two-story Mediterranean-style mansion features a spacious living room, elegant dining room, and library. When combined with the outdoor areas, the venue has space for up to 100 people.
Every room in the house reflects Julia Morgan’s attention to detail with decorative elements that highlight the furnishings. The floors, doors, friezes, decorative panels, and balustrades are crafted of natural teak. The teak doors are embellished with hand-carved rosettes, and striking ceramic tiles, designed by Julia Morgan, enhance the rooms and exterior of the house. Julia Morgan was particularly fond of Renaissance and European antiquities and a reproduction of a bas relief sculpture by Renaissance sculptor, Luca Della Robbia, is a focal point in the living room. True to Julia Morgan’s style, the house boasts many large windows.
